Located in Groveland, Florida, right off of Highway 50, Pita Hut is very different than the usual food choices you may have the average city. With their Middle East/Eastern Europe style menu and the owner/cook is also from Syria, so you know every dish is coming from a place of love!
The menu includes chicken (regular or spicy) and lamb gyros, kebabs, shawarma, falafel and more. Also some American favorites like Philly cheesesteaks, wings, fries, even chicken and lamb over rice, etc. To cool you off, you can either order a drink, snow cone, ice cream or a milkshake with almost any flavor combination you want!
Previously owning a shop called Budapest Pastry in Manhattan, NY is where he first started spreading his love for food. Also being a baker brings his desserts to life, like the baklava, honey cake and more! He’s been cooking for 30+ years and bringing it to Florida as “Pita Hut”, this man is no slouch when it comes to cooking! But let’s be honest, who wants fast food when you can get something more authentic, flavorful, and made with a little TLC? When it comes to those three things, Pita Hut is hands down my go to!
